How to Pair Motorola HS850
How to place a Motorola HS 850 bluetooth headset into paring mode:
1. Close the boom to turn the unit off.
2. Hold down the call button until the blue light comes on.
3. While holding down the call button, swing the boom open.
The headset is now in pairing mode, and you can search for it using your phone. When it asks for a PIN, use 0000.

How to use Nslookup to verify MX record configuration
1. At a command prompt, type nslookup, and then press ENTER.
2. Type server, where IP address is the IP address of your external DNS server, and then press ENTER.
3. Type set q=MX, and then press ENTER.
4. Type, where domain name is the name of your domain, and then press ENTER. The MX record for the domain you entered should be displayed. If the MX record is not displayed, DNS is not configured properly.

Listening to Voicemail Message received in Outlook
We switched to unified messaging last year and receive voicemails as .wav attachements in an email. I always was annoyed by the attachment opening in Media Player, or Yahoo Jukebox, or iTunes, etc.

Active Directory and DNS Issues
I built a new Windows 2003 R2 Domain Controller as a test machine. DNS ended up being a major headache. So I deleted the Forward Zone and rebooted and everything was perfect.

Unblock Foreign Executables in Windows 2003 Server
In Windows 2003 Server SP2 executables copied from another computer or disk are blocked from being run directly. You need to right-click the file and select 'Unblock' at the bottom of the default tab.
